HowTo: Change Font-Size

Hello, this time I'm trying to change the font size in Self. I've tried: lobby -> globals -> ui2 -> System -> Fonts -> fontSpec -> Set it to another value but this seems to have no effect on the world. In fact, the font is so small, that I cannot use self without using the ubuntu-magnifying functionality :D best regards Chris

Today I talked about this history of Smalltalk and Smalltalk hardware. the Self VM and the OpenSmalltalk VM at the meeting about the J Extension (dynamic languages) for the RISC-V standard. Since the second part is about Self I thought some people here might be interested. creating local variables

Hello, I'm trying to use local variables in a block, that are writable and do not come from the parameter list. So something like this: [| :arg1. | tmpVar: 5. arg1 + tmpVar. ] value: 1. But I get told that "tmpVar: is not found" Or does self not support such kind of local variables? regards Chris
