This is really great. Are you OK with these being shared more widely or do you want to work on them more? Also a couple of extra shortcuts you might not have found yet: - double click on the desktop gives you a dialog offering to take you ‘home’ ie back to the place you started from - the ^ button on the outliners gets you all parents of the object One fun thing which David showed me is to go to traits smallInt and redefine the + method so the first line gives the wrong answer, eg + a = ( 123456789 = a ifTrue: [^ 42]. etc etc ) then when you do 6 + 123456789 in a shell, you will get 42 This usually appals people when you show it to them :) :) Russell > On 28 Jun 2018, at 6:22 am, itsnotgregg(a)gmail.com [self-interest] <self-interest(a)yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > > I've just posted three more videos (the ones at the bottom of the list). Thanks Russell. I will add the double click to the third video. I would really like you to share my tutorials. I just want to make a few quick tweaks to the first 3 now that I have learned a little more about zooming. hopefully tomorrow morning ( a zillion o'clock your time. ) Then I will give you the go ahead. I don't think there is a way to edit and repost a video without killing the link. Gregg

For simplicity in a tutorial I am making I want to say that binary messages examples are primarily math symbols. Are there some other groups of binary messages I am missing?

Two other quirks are the ambiguous uses of the minus and period characters since they can be part of number literals but can also have other functions. I think it was a good idea to show the different ways of doing things. I don't remember some of the stuff in those menus, so either they are new or I just had not paid attention. The green in the outliner for a process and also the selection pointing out the space in (| |) was pretty shocking. I thought we did pastel colors in Self? Even Squeak has toned down its colors over the years (sometimes too much). -- Jecel

Go for it. The bank account example was originally from the handbook or tutorial I think. Kitchen Sink

If I look in Globals for KitchenSink.snap vs Globals for Morphic.snap I see there are 3 extra modules in applications. Mango, Pep, and Webbrowser. Is this the only difference? Can someone point me to a description of these or any others additions I missed?
