HI, Jecel,

Yes, Self already runs in true-color mode on the Macs.
The problems are all in the X-specific code.
The last few were getting the pixmap depths right, and
fixing two primitives that interface to X from Self to handle
deeper pixmaps.

Would the Linux port go through X?
