I can ping it, but I still can't connect to that url with Mosaic. I get:

The information server either is not accessible or is refusing to serve the document to you.

Oooops! I goofed on the URL. It should have read:

http://lsi.usp.br:8000/~jecel/merlin.html ^^^^^^^

Sorry about the inconvenience. I looked at the the address several times and failed to see the problem.
