Viewing Sparc instructions generated by Self compiler?

How can I view the code generated by the Self compiler? I have figured out how to view the bytecodes, but would still like to view the generated Sparc instructions. Thanks, Cameron

What is happening with Self?

I don't want to push any buttons here, but what is the status of the Self project? On the 4.0 release page, it says the Self project no longer officially exists at Sun. Is it going anywhere?, does anyone have any strong directions they are taking it? Please fill me in. Thanks Cameron Elliott

We have not seen this on the ultra.. but sometimes you have your X preferences set so that you have to click on the border of the whole Self X-window before it is eligable to receive input from X. Ok, after hacking through the code, it turns out it looks like a X modifier key is being held down on my system. (Its not, but I won't even try to explain my keyboard situation, it sucks) Thanks, Cameron

Ultrasparc, can't type in inputs

Something I should add is that I am having the entry into input box problem via X windows on another machine. (I don't have a graphics card on the Sparc) Also, I have started the Snapshot with the '-F', and immediately gone to 'Save Snapshot As...' using the middle button on the desktop (?) And, I am unable to get the './Snapshot' entry to change, I also see the same behavior in places like the 'Find Senders' input box. Thanks for your help Cameron

Ultrasparc??

I really doubt this is a problem with the Ultrasparc, but hey. I just started using an Ultrasparc, and I can't enter text into some of the boxes in Self now. Specificly, I can't change the name of the snapshot in the Save Snapshot widget. Any help is appreciated. (I will give it a debugging shot myself.) Thanks Cameron cam(a)elliott.net
