[Self-interest] Self for Mac OS X Tiger?

Hi people,
I've been asked offline by Kevin:

Or was Self always distributed in code form?I've just grabbed a copy of the 4.4 code that has manuals for 4.3 inside that contain instructions for building on Mac with Xcode, which must be roughly contemporary to what I have.Or would 4.4 build OK anyway? I can't try it right now.The new release requires later mac os/Xcode.Thanks for any help you can provide.
Anyone happen to have a PPC Mac VM sitting around?
