Yes, unfortunately Javascript doesn’t support coroutines so dealing with async messaging involves writing very difficult to understand/debug hand rolled state machines. I’ve talked to some JS standards folks about this and I think Mark was one of the people opposed to coroutines. I’m not sure why.
