The themes stuff was a side effect of my attempt to simplify some of the outliner code, so I don’t think anyone has written a nice GUI for changing it. Would be nice though!

One preference you might enjoy is to set:

preferences outliner kevooidal: true

this changes outliners to show all the shared slots as if they were part of the object.
