drawable and childResponsibility (specific question)

Thanks Russel, I cant wait to try this halt business. my interest in drawable was out of curiosity as I  journey to the center of Self. I have been experimenting with ways to flowchart/map some of this stuff using screenshots and photoshop. But I kind of get the idea that any part of it could be marked for complete reconstruction. I was wondering if a lot of the the background stuff was needed for working with slow computers. It seems like nowadays self should almost be written in a game engine like love2d for Lua or something. I'm not making suggestions just trying to get the big picture of self because as I've said in one my very first posts. I have declared my complete love for Self and have forsaken all other languages.
