Two classes of Input Events?

http://docs.selflanguage.org/4.5/morphic.html#handling-user-input mentions: KeyDown events... are dispatched using the “falling through the submorphs”
However, playing with self 4.5.0, it seems that my morph only receives key down events if I subscribeKeyboard:. Did something change?
