[self-interest] problems compiling on 64-bit linux

I was missing the step:

dpkg --add-architecture i386

>From my package set up, so I wasn't getting the i386 libraries. I am still
getting an error from ld when I try to compile from source, but the
binaries from selflanguage.org work now so I'm all set.
