Experimental VM manager for OS X to try

Hi guys,

As I mentioned before I have been thinking about how to make the current VM experience on Macs (with the droplet, complex installer etc) better.

I've uploaded a first think of a better way to http://selflanguage.org/files/releases/4.5/experimental/SelfVM-23Feb12.zip

If you download the zip file onto your mac and unzip, you will get an app called "Self".

Double click it to start, then you can start snapshots either by dragging them onto the icon, or by using the Open file menu or the run snapshot button.

It should keep track of what snapshots are running.

Also under the file menu is an option to install the command line vm at /usr/bin/Self You will need your password to do this.

There are many more possibilities I think with this approach.

This is experimental code which hasn't been tested outside my laptop, so I'd love feedback from anyone who wants to try it.

Cheers, Russell
