[self-interest] minimalistic snapshot

it's fairly modular as it is but our build mechanism just loads everything by default, and the transporter isn't designed to be able to unload modules (this needs fixing :)

One easy thing is to make the original UI1 an optional install. It's great, but shouldn't be in our default Clean.snap world. I've created a new build script which I'll upload so we can do that.
