I tried writing a simple loop to demonstrate the bug but couldn't do it. 
Now I tried running my program again and it seems to be working even 
with the SIC. I upgraded from 64MB to 320MB of RAM last week, but don't 
see how that could have "cured" the compiler...

I took a quick look at the SIC source and didn't see anything obvious 
(like an "or" where an "and" should have been). Perhaps I should have 
looked in memory allocation instead?
