Gordon F. Cichon wrote about differences in signal handling between Linux 2.0
and 2.2.
Of all the choices you have, can't you write code in such a way that it runs on
both 2.0 and 2.2 kernels? Though I have upgrades one of my machines to a newer
versions of Linux, I think having Self break on older instalations would cause
a lot of needless confusion. See related message about Solaris 2.5.
I guess the time has come to move beyond Unix... even with neat MacOS X just
around the corner ;-)
