[self-interest] i386 Port: Status

Hi all,

The Self VM links now :-)

It crashes before main() in a constructor for a global
variable. Here's the stack trace:

PS: 
Daniel has set up a small cluster to compile the Self VM
in parallel with PVM. It takes now only 5 minutes to do a
full compile of the VM.
