Ultrasparc, can't type in inputs

Something I should add is that I am having the entry into input box
problem via X windows on another machine.
(I don't have a graphics card on the Sparc)
Also, I have started the Snapshot with the '-F', and immediately
gone to 'Save Snapshot As...' using the middle button on the desktop (?)

And, I am unable to get the './Snapshot' entry to change,
I also see the same behavior in places like the 'Find Senders' input
box.
