Prototypes ...

Clobbering prototypes has been a concern since day one.
After all, a safe prototype wouldn't be prototypical.
One idea we considered was to have the point slot return a copy of the prototypical point
instead of the prototype itself.

But, we've never found a cure that was better than the disease.
Even with this problem, I still prefer the classless model to a classful one.

Keep trying for a clean, simple solution!
